Official Language Clause:
The official language of these Terms and Conditions is Italian. This English version is provided for convenience only. In the event of any conflict or discrepancy, the Italian version shall prevail.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction:
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Italian law. The exclusive jurisdiction for any dispute is the Court of Lecce (LE), Italy.
1. Definitions
- “Customer”: Any individual or legal entity purchasing products or services through the platform.
- “SIC Navy” / “Company” / “We” / “Us”: SIC–DIVISIONE ELETTRONICA S.R.L., the owner and manager of the brand and the e-commerce platform.
- “Products”: Marine electronic equipment, tanks, sensors, and safety lighting manufactured or sold by the Company.

2. Platform Use
By using our platform, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and truthful information during purchase, registration, or when using the Dashboard.
- Use the products in accordance with their technical specifications and international maritime safety regulations.
- Comply with all applicable laws, including international trade, export, and shipping regulations.
- Accept these Terms and Conditions in their entirety.
3. Orders and Payments
- Orders are considered confirmed only upon receipt of full payment or a valid purchase order accepted by our sales department.
- Payments are processed through secure encrypted gateways.
- Prices are quoted in Euro (€) and are subject to VAT and duties according to the shipping destination and the customer’s tax status.
- The Company reserves the right to refuse or cancel orders in case of manifest pricing errors or stock unavailability.
4. Shipping and Delivery
- Shipping costs and estimated delivery times are provided during the checkout process.
- SIC Navy is not responsible for delays caused by customs procedures, third-party logistics providers, or events of force majeure.
- Risk of loss or damage passes to the Customer upon delivery of the goods to the carrier (Incoterms EXW or as otherwise specified).
5. Warranty and Returns
- All products are covered by the standard legal warranty against manufacturing defects for the duration provided by Italian and EU law.
- Return requests must be submitted in writing within 14 days of receipt. Products must be unused, unaltered, and in their original packaging.
- Custom-designed products (such as custom-molded tanks) are strictly non-refundable unless a manufacturing defect is proven.
6. Technical Compliance and Safety
- SIC Navy products are designed and certified according to international standards (e.g., ISO 21487, ISO 10088, Directive 2013/53/EU, SOLAS MED).
- The Customer assumes all responsibility for the professional installation of electronic components and fuel systems. Improper installation voids all warranties.
7. Intellectual Property
- All designs, CAD drawings, technical manuals, and images are the exclusive intellectual property of SIC–DIVISIONE ELETTRONICA S.R.L.
- Any unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or commercial use of such materials is strictly prohibited.
8. Privacy & Data Protection
- Personal data is processed in full compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
- Data is used solely for order management, technical assistance, and mandatory legal compliance.
9. Liability & Disclaimers
- SIC Navy shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including loss of profit or vessel downtime) resulting from the use of its products.
- Total liability is limited to the net purchase price of the specific product that gave rise to the claim.
