Description
This active battery isolator, or charge splitter, allows two or more batteries to be charged simultaneously using a single generator.
It separates the current from each battery to prevent the one with the highest charge from flowing into the one with the lowest charge.
During charging, the generator’s current is split to favor the battery with the lowest charge.
This active circuit guarantees virtually zero voltage loss and negligible energy dissipation compared to a traditional diode isolator.
Nuts, washers, and terminals for the electrical connection are supplied.
